Will you, won’t you!

They say that where there is a will there is a way!

Making a bequest in a will is a very private affair and should remain so.

Over the years the church receives bequests from parishioners who have passed on. Many of our former, late parishioners have been life-long members of Glencraig and have contributed to the well-being of the church in many ways through the talents which have been granted to them. Through a bequest that feeling of connection with the church is maintained.

A quick glance at the list of bequests towards the end of each issue of the Annual Accounts can give you some idea of how it all works. Other bequests have been received for specific work around the church: for example, the flood-lighting, the provision of Communion wine, the church organ and several other good works.

This brief paragraph may have begun rather flippantly but there is a serious question for us all behind it.

Is this something you could consider?
